My story: I found my love for content creation early, writing stories about dragons, and designing magazines for tween girls.
After receiving my B.A. in English from University of California, Santa Barbara, I began my first professional role at the Disneyland Resort with a dream to market my favorite brand through content. At Team Disney Anaheim, my average day looked like capturing content in the parks and writing accompanying stories or captions about my fellow Cast Members (ask me about the the original 2018 PixarFest) or hosting media for the opening of a new attraction (think Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout).
During my time at the Disneyland Resort, I completed a Master of Arts in Professional Communications at California State University, Fullerton, specializing in entertainment and tourism public relations. All of my projects focused on using communications to benefit causes close to my heart, including local attractions with a conservational purpose (the San Diego Zoo) and non-profit animal shelters.
Now, more than eight years later, I’ve led teams across the U.S. and partnered with international brands. From parks and recreation to Formula 1, I have directed campaigns in all areas of marketing and communications on a variety of scales.
Need support? I’m currently taking on public relations and social media strategy projects with experiential businesses (Tourism, Hospitality, Entertainment, Sports, Retail, etc.).
